Visual Lottery Analyser - Blocks & Groups of Analysis  
 
Previous tutorial Graphical Layout Analysis concluded that Ticket View has some graphical element that may be used to analyze lottery game.
 
Graphical analysis methods are not all of the methods that Visual Lottery Analyser uses.
There are more, and now we are going back to mathematic!. Of course program does have built-in typical methods
of analyzing numbers like analyzing single numbers frequencies, occurrences etc. In this tutorial we would like
to present some other interesting methods you may find in our program.

All ticket's numbers may be grouped in certain groups/blocks of numbers, and those groups may be analyzed too. You can see how many numbers are drawn within certain groups and basing on that knowledge you may avoid to make some mistakes when choosing numbers.
 
We can divide ticket's numbers into a few groups that have common numbers pattern, for example we may create such groups of numbers:
Group 1 = ( 1 11 21 31 41 ) All numbers with 1
Group 2 = ( 2 12 22 32 42 ) All numbers with 2
Group 3 = ( 3 13 23 33 43 ) All numbers with 3
Group 4 = ( 4 14 24 34 44 ) All numbers with 4
Group 5 = ( 5 15 25 35 45 ) All numbers with 5
Group 6 = ( 6 16 26 36 46 ) All numbers with 6
Group 7 = ( 7 17 27 37 47 ) All numbers with 7
Group 8 = ( 8 18 28 38 48 ) All numbers with 8
Group 9 = ( 9 19 29 39 49 ) All numbers with 9
Group 10 = ( 10 20 30 40 ) All numbers with 0

The ticket is always divided into a 10 groups, how many numbers are in
particular group that depends on a game numbers range.
This method is not always suitable for all lotto games and that also depends on the Ticket View layout.

 



In picture you may see circled in green color one example of group 1.

Some another groups of numbers that are very often used to analyze game are blocks of 10 numbers. To create those blocks just divide all game numbers by 10:
Group 1 = ( 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10) All numbers from 1 to 10
Group 2 = ( 1 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20) All numbers from 11 to 20
and so on..

In picture you may see circled in green color example of group 1.
Circled in yellow color group 2, in red color group 3 and there  rest of groups will go to the last numbers.


 

Very often you hear about Hot & Cold numbers, these types of numbers are widely used in many lottery programs. The definition what are Hot and what are Cold numbers however differ from program to program.

Visual Lottery Analyser uses its own algorithm to determine which are hot and which ones are cold numbers. The amount of Cold and Hot numbers may vary from drawing to drawing. Basically the amounts are equal.

To show on a Ticket View which numbers are Hot and which are cold
we of course use colors. The numbers in white color are the Hot numbers and the black ones are Cold.
See in the picture how easy is to recognize them.


 

We cannot forget about the most basic two groups of number that exists, group of Odd and group of Even numbers. Visual Lottery Analyser of course use these groups of numbers to analyze game, we use it separately and in conjunction with all methods described previously.
 

 

If you run Visual Lottery Analyser software and use its Visual Analyser feature you will see that in the real life,
in standard games new drawing numbers are almost never drawn all from one group only!
And it does not matter which of type of group we talking about.

They always are distributed among some different groups.
This rule sometimes does not apply to Pick games.
To take advantages of this knowledge just never choose too much numbers from one group only.

If, in your game 6 numbers are drawn and you choose 6 or 5 numbers from one group only, then is most likely
that you are going to lose your chances.
