Visual Lottery Analyser - Games Database  
 
To open Games Database window, please go to the software main window and click the Games Database button located on the ribbon bar within Games group.

On the top of Games Database window you may see the Games List or Games Card List.
Visual Lottery Analyser can show your games in two forms:

Classic Grid View

You can edit game data directly on this list by entering new values into grid cells.
All of cells on the list, which are grayed out indicate that they are not required to edit for particular game.

Card View


You can edit game data directly on this list by entering value into card cells.
Cards by default contain expand/collapse buttons used to minimize and restore cards.
Multiple card layouts are supported by the Card View. Cards can be displayed using one or multiple columns
or rows, or it's possible to display a single card centered within the View at one time.
The Header Panel at the top of the Card View provides a set of buttons that allow switching between various displays modes.
You can also provide a picture logo for your game. Use context menu when mouse is over the picture box.
Right mouse click will open the menu where you can choose to load, copy or paste the picture.

On the left side of games database window is navigation bar with several groups of links.
Clicking on a link will execute its command.

First group is a Game group.
Here you can open selected game at Games List, close currently opened game and Add a new game to your games collection.

Links descriptions:

Open Game
You must open a game prior to use some of Visual Lottery Analyser features.
There are two ways to open a game.
1. Select a game name at Games List and click on this link
2. Select a game from an another list. Go to the software main window and select game from drop-down list Open Game located on the ribbon bar within Games group.

Close Game
Closes currently opened game, you do not have to use this link before opening new game.
This link is useful only in a case when you use a lot of computer memory when working with software.
If wish to free the memory of Visual Lottery Analyser data without closing the software you may close the game.

Add Keno Game
Click to add immediately new Keno type game to your collection.
For Keno games you must enter the following data into new added row.

Game
Enter the name of the game.
Drawings
Enter here how many numbers (balls) are drawn in the game. For Keno it will be usually 20 as in majority of Keno games there are 20 balls drawn from 80 numbers.
Ticket Range
Enter here how many numbers the game has on the ticket. In the other words from how many numbers the balls are drawn.
For Keno it will be usually 80 as in majority of Keno games there are 80 numbers where from balls are drawn.
Description
You may enter any description you wish.

There is no need to edit Pick Start, Pick End, Bonus, Bonus Range because these game properties does not apply to Keno Game
 
Add Standard Game
Click to add immediately new standard game to your collection.
For standard games you must enter the following data into new added row.

Game
Enter the name of the game.
Drawings
Enter here how many numbers (balls) are drawn in the game. For lottery games such as Lotto 5 out 35 it will be a 5 that you need to enter.
Ticket Range
Enter here how many numbers the game has on the ticket. In the other words from how many numbers the balls are drawn.
For lottery games such as Lotto 5 out 35 it will be a 35 that you need to enter.
Bonus
Some games have an additional bonus number drawn. It may be called a bonus, powerball etc. Enter here how many there is in a game.
Visual Lottery Analyser supports games with more than one bonus number, but usually there is one additional bonus number.
Bonus Range
Enter here how many numbers the bonus numbers has on the game ticket. In the other words from how many numbers the bonus balls are drawn.
Description
You may enter any description you wish.

There is no need to edit Pick Start, Pick End data as these game properties does not apply to standard games
 
Add Pick Game
Click to add immediately new Pick type game to your collection.
For Pick type games you must enter the following data into new added row.

Game
Enter the name of the game.
Drawings
Enter here how many numbers (balls) are drawn in the game. For Pick type games enter how many picks the game has. Pick 3 it would be 3 and so on.
Ticket Range
Enter here how many numbers the game has on the ticket. In the other words from how many numbers TOTAL all Pick are drawn.
However program requires this data you do need to enter anything. program will calculate this automatically when you enter other required data.
Pick Start
Enter here the Pick starting number, in the other words the lowest number of the range from the pick ball is drawn.
Usually it will be 0 because majority of Pick type games has balls drawn from 0 to 9.
Visual Lottery Analyser supports Pick games that may have balls drawn from 1 to 12 numbers for example.
In that case you need to enter number 1
Pick End
Enter here the Pick ending number, in the other words the highest number of the range from the pick ball is drawn.
Usually it will be 9 because majority of Pick type games has balls drawn from 0 to 9.
Visual Lottery Analyser supports Pick games that may have balls drawn from 1 to 12 numbers for example. In that case you need to enter number 12
Description
You may enter any description you wish.

There is no need to edit Bonus, Bonus Range data because these game properties does not apply to Pick Game Standard Game
 
The second group on navigation bar is a Tasks group. Here you can maintain your games database and use available tools.

Remove Selected Games
Removes selected games from your games database.
All drawing numbers, prizes, hits and statistics data assigned to game will be removed too.

Remove All Games
This command removes all games from your database, all drawing numbers, prizes, hits and statistics data assigned to games are removed too. Be careful not use it accidentally, you will be asked to confirm though.

Visit Games' Site
Opens the game's internet page in your default Internet Browser.
You can edit the internet address for selected game at Game Details group, Web text box.

Add Prize
Add an empty prize data to selected game's Game Hits & Prizes collection. After that you must enter the required data manually. See Games Hits & Prizes Editor topic.

Remove Selected Prizes
Removes selected prizes from selected game's Game Hits & Prizes collection

Print Games
Prints your games list.

The third group on navigation bar is a Game Details group. Here, also you can edit selected game data directly by changing required values.

These options are provided for your convenience if you prefer that way of editing.

Ticket View

By default Visual Lottery Analyser is creating the Ticket View automatically when you opening a game.
These properties lets you to change the dimension of the Ticket View.To open properties window click on the arrow button.

 
 
Auto
If selected then Visual Lottery Analyser will create ticket view automatically, otherwise you must set the following:

Game Lines Horizontal & Game Lines Vertical
Set here how many lines the ticket should have to create a square you want. For example for Lotto game where there are 49 number ideal ticket square is 7x7.

Bonus Lines Horizontal & Bonus Lines Vertical
Same as above, but sets values for games that have bonus number.
If a game does not game a bonus number you may skip these properties.

It is your responsibility to set appropriate values that will cover all game numbers range. Please note that in some games will not be possible to create ideal square view of the game ticket.

To apply change of values you must reopen the game.

Below the Games List is Games Hits & Prizes Editor. When you select a game on Games List then all prizes & hits data associated to selected game will be shown on editor.
